A sister you don't want to mess with.
This review contains spoilers. Welly is playing 4d chess and I am SO here for this. It's heartbreaking that she had to sacrifice her relationship with Iora in order to protect her. Seriously, what is up with the parents? I hope Welly has found out their true motive and gave all the evidence to the right people. I wanna see the parents get theirs. I know if Welly's true nature and motivations will become known by Iora and that saddens me so much. I really hope they can be together as true sisters at the end of this, but that's wishful thinking.

    No BS for this lady
I honestly wasn't expecting much when I clicked on this story, but I am so blown away by how good it is. I love this take on the "evil stepsisters" and am rooting for Petra. I hope Eric helps her reform the patriarchal views of the country. Speaking of Eric ... is anyone else suspicious of him and think he's not just a merchant but perhaps the older brother of a certain newlywed?

    Poor Eyesight
This review contains spoilers. I KNEW IT. The reason why FL gives ML bad looks is because she’s near-sighted. He got petty over a misunderstanding, but at least it helped keep her safe. Her eyesight also gives the servants an excuse to put our leads into even MORE cliché romantic situations. Seriously, the servants are doing excellent work sailing this ship through stormy seas of miscommunication and cirsumstance.

    The Male Leads are Stupid
The main ML only started being interested in the FL because she actually stood up for herself and took on her new role with dignity and grace. FL has accepted that Osborne is her home now and sees its citizens as her people and feels compassion and noblesse oblige towards them. Props to her. ML was too blind to see that until she straight up told him. And then there's the 2nd ML Travis "I need to save her by force even when she explicitly told me not to and that she is fine with her current position." Idiots. These men are idiots.

    He really believed the rumors
This review contains spoilers. I hate that this supposed intelligent man didn't bother to investigate if the rumors about our girl were even true and just straight up rapes her because of her rumored reputation. Other than that disgusting start, I'm enjoying the story and how our male lead is slowly falling for our girl snd seeing how badass she is.

    Emotional Snap Decisions
This review contains spoilers. Our lead characters certainly let their emotions get the better of them when they're under duress. I'm glad that they're taking the time to get to know each other, just sad that it took such a lack of communication and cliché OFL-is-the-villain plot to get here.
